The nominations for this year’s MTV Video Music Awards are in, and a few names in the alternative world are up for awards.

Kendrick Lamar dominates a majority of the list with eight total nominations for “HUMBLE,” but is up against Lorde in the “Artist of the Year” category, now that all awards are non-gendered.

Lorde's video for "Green Light" is also up for "Best Editing," while Imagine Dragons' "Thunder" is up for "Best Cinemetography."

Coldplay, Fall Out Boy, Twenty One Pilots, Green Day, and Foo Fighters are the five groups up for “Best Rock Video,” and you can watch each of their nominated videos right here:
