New Music This Week...On The Horizon! 3/12/17

March 15, 2017

Well hello again…hope you’re keeping warm. Been listening to some new tracks I’d like to share with you. I’ll be playing them all this Sunday Night, On The Horizon...

First up is a new band called Dreamcar. They are out of LA and features singer Davey Havok from AFI and Tony Kanal, Tom Dumont and Adrian Young from No Doubt. The track ‘Kill For Candy’ is the first from the band’s self-titled debut album which will be released on May 12th.

Skinny Lister put out their 3rd album in late 2016 called ‘The Devil, The Heart and the Fight’. They toured in support of the Dropkick Murphys and now we have their latest single ‘Injuries’.

Canadian quartet Current Swell have just released their 5th studio album. Entitled ‘When To Talk and When To Listen’ it drops on May 12th.  Amongst those new songs is the lead single "It Ain't Right" — an ode to "heartbreak and spurned love."

This is ho99o9. The Los Angeles punk/rap hybrid are an artistic group, and "United States Of Horror" shows the band's creative side in an astonishing way. The band recently toured Europe with the likes of The Dillinger Escape Plan and Primitive Weapons. When I played this in my office this week a Juggalo said he was getting flashbacks…

Lastly we have New Politics. They are out of Copenhagen and are getting ready to release their 4th studio album. This track is called ‘One Of Us’.

Hope you like the tunes. I’ll check you out Sunday night starting at 10p for On The Horizon!
