Nirvana is still killin’ it on the charts. The band’s album Nevermind scored the No. 134 spot on the latest Billboard 200 albums chart.

At first, this ranking may not seem all that impressive. But then you remember one tiny, yet incredibly important, fact: The album is from 1991. So this marks Nevermind’s 350th nonconsecutive week on the chart. Yeah, kind of a big deal.

The album is iconic. Not only did make grunge a thing but it also shifted the rock scene toward alternative, rather than eighties hair metal. In fact, the band’s success was so huge that The Smashing Pumpkins’ Billy Corgan recently shared that he felt his band was overshadowed by Nirvana in a major way.

To honor the album’s significance, we bring you the biggest hit off Nevermind, “Smells Like Teen Spirit.”
