The Shins just shared a unique music video for their Heartworms song “Half a Million,” and based on the band’s note on YouTube, it sounds like they put some serious work into it. Watch the band members dance on a cheese plate and replace staples like Anne and Peter on Guess Who tiles in the new video.

To expand upon that note left on the band’s YouTube channel, the video was created using over 5,000 stickers which were cut—by hand—from close to 5,000 frames of printed footage from initial filming. They then brought the stickers to life by stacking them on top of each other in over 40 different locations.

Pretty innovative stuff, huh?

The Shins just played Lollapalooza this past weekend and will finish out their European tour this month before heading stateside for the fall.
