Arcade Fire

Over the weekend, Arcade Fire were Saturday Night Live’s musical guests. But of course, they threw some comedy into the mix as well.

Appearing in a sketch with the episode’s host, Bill Hader, the band goes full-on Canadian (even though Win and Will Butler are American), apologizing for working with the “Canadian Harvey Weinstein” … and then apologizing some more, as Canadians do.

You definitely don’t want to miss the sketch from the St. Patrick’s Day episode, and you definitely don’t want to miss the band’s performances either. Below, watch the sketch, as well as an energetic performance of “Creature Comfort.” Additionally, watch frontman Win Butler play the slots for “Put Your Money on Me.”

Both of the songs performed on SNL can be found on 2017’s Everything Now, which the band will continue to tour in support of April 6 in Dublin. More US tour dates were recently added to the band’s itinerary. Find dates for the Everything Now Continued run here.
