Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea is stepping off the stage and in front of the camera to act in a new film called Boy Erased, Billboard reports.

This isn’t Flea’s first rodeo, though. The bassist had two recent parts in Edgar Wright’s Baby Driver and Terrence Malick’s Song to Song.

According to the article, Joel Edgerton’s Boy Erased (based on the book Boy Erased: A Memoir of Identity, Faith, and Family by Garrard Conley) tells the story of a minister’s son who is forced into conversion therapy.

It’s still unclear who Flea will play or how big his role will be, but he’s reportedly joining an A-list cast, including Nicole Kidman, Russell Crowe, and Manchester by the Sea’s Lucas Hedges, among others.
