What began as a conversation about Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker’s upcoming 11th annual MusInk Festival (which combines—you guessed it—music and tattoos) soon turned into an announcement about Barker's forthcoming documentary. But we didn't just talk doc—we also talked about who we can expect to see in said doc.

Regarding former Blink bandmate Tom DeLonge, Barker told us, “He just did a really important interview for my doc.” He continues, “Four people were interviewed to create this trailer, and it was Mark Hoppus, my dad, and Tom DeLonge.”

According to the above interview, the documentary will essentially serve as the counterpart to Barker’s bestselling autobiography, Can I Say: Living Large, Cheating Death, and Drums, Drums, Drums, but it won’t stop there.

Done by the “same people who did Steve Aoki’s documentary,” the project will take a deeper look at topics like the South Carolina plane crash he survived in 2008, as seen through news clippings, footage, and interviews given by friends and family.

"It’s gnarly,” says Barker.

So yes, that means there will be a Travis Barker documentary coming out. When, though? “Really soon,” Barker promises.

In early December 2017, DeLonge shared the below Instagram post, which captures a pretty cool behind-the-scenes look at his perspective in front of the cameras for Barker’s doc.

But what’s interesting is his caption, which promises Blink fans that he and Barker talked about “other stuff.” Could that mean the OG Blink lineup is reuniting? Based on the comments section, fans are hopeful. Regardless, it looks like something cool is in the works!

So Travis calls me and asks me to do an interview... next thing I know all these cameras have invaded my office. I have a feeling he just wanted some super hi-res footage of my body. And yes Blinkies, we also talked a bit about other stuff. :) #TravisAndTomHoldingHands
