Liam Gallagher is putting in work. The Oasis frontman dutifully delivered “I’ve All I Need,” the 12th and final track on his 2017 solo debut, As You Were, on The Late Late Show with James Corden last night (Feb. 21).

The singer also shared a story (via NME) behind the song that involves a visit with Yoko Ono at her home in The Dakota, the building where John Lennon was murdered. Ono invited him in for a cup of tea, when Gallagher asked about the meaning of a banner hung up in the kitchen. Ono replied that it means "while I’ve been hibernating, I’ve been gathering my wings," before noting that Lennon asked her the same thing when they were in Japan visiting her parents.

Gallagher worked that same line into this very song, and you can watch him perform “I’ve All I Need” on The Late Late Show below.

In addition to his performance on Corden, Gallagher delivered a poignant rendition of the Oasis classic "Live Forever" at the 2018 Brit Awards in tribute to the 2017 Manchester bombing victims.

Gallagher continues to donate royalties from Oasis' "Don't Look Back In Anger," which has become an anthem for victims, to a Manchester victim benefit fund.
