This Part In My Hair Brought To You By...

July 18, 2018

I've been dying my hair since I was a teenager. Kool Aid (not kidding) and Manic Panic evolved into heavier salon quality product over the years when I realized my roots were growing out an an alarming rate. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about my rapid hair growth, I'm just setting the scene to explain that I found an AWESOME inexpensive solution to a neverending problem.

I've been using L'Oreal's Root Cover Up for about a year and a half and I've saved myself hundreds of bucks on hair appointments. Infact my hair chick, Fio (who happens to be top notch) told me I should be using this stuff because it's so perfect. It's hair in a can, in essence and it literally takes me under 30 seconds to apply it in the morning. My roots you're looking at in the photo above, they're about an inch long underneath the root spray. I took the photo outside so you can get a real close-up natural light view of what's happening on my head. I applied the spray on Monday and it generally lasts 3-5 days or until I was it out.

A single can costs under $10 and lasts me several months and it's available in 8 colors. I use their Dark Brown and it's a perfect match. I've been caught in the SoFla rain without any embarassing color dripping down my face. It's pretty amazing, and again, a big money saver. I'm in no way being compensated to tell you about this, I just thought I'd share my hack because it's been a game-changer for me and many friends.

If you do give it a whirl, definitely let me know what you think! I buy them in 3-packs on Amazon or at Target, but you can find this stuff pretty much everywhere. Enjoy! <3
