Something big happened to music in the late 90’s that hasn’t happened since… We went through a swing phase. One of the most instrumental bands behind that movement was definitely Squirrel Nut Zippers. They formed in North Carolina in 1993- and got their name from a newspaper headline about a guy who got wasted on moonshine, climbed a tree and refused to come down for days. Their album “Hot” will be re-released for it’s 20th anniversary on July 29th and they’re kicking off a tour at the end of this month that runs through mid-November, but bypasses Florida entirely. Today’s ‪#‎FromTheDeep‬ cut is “Hell”. Dance with me, wont you? <3 deena
