“I’m in love with my future, can’t wait to meet her” Billie Eilish croons in her brand new song “my future.”

The release marks Billie’s first since earlier this year when she was tasked with writing the theme song for the upcoming James Bond film No Time to Die.

Eilish surprised fans last week with the announcement of the new single.

“‘My future’ out thursday,” is all her Instagram post read featuring a masked up Billie with a sunset and the Los Angeles skyline in the background.

Yesterday, she shared a short clip of the song teasing audiences on what’s to come. Appropriately, the internet freaked out.

It remains to be seen whether or not the song comes from a new album. Whenever she releases a new record, it’ll mark her first since 2019’s massively successful WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?

Her debut record brought home numerous GRAMMY awards including Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, Record of the Year, and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical. She also took home the Best New Artist and Song of the Year awards making her the youngest artist and only the second ever to win the four major GRAMMY categories.

The album spawned numerous singles including “bad guy,” “bury a friend,” "all the good girls go to hell," "you should see me in a crown," and "ilomilo."
